Lidia Lempart

About Prelegent

President of the ORaToR Association, director and program designer at the Rehabilitation and Therapy Centre for Families of Children with Hearing Loss, speech therapist focusing on deaf and hard of hearing children, trainer.

She has been working with Families of children with disabilities since 1981. From 2003 to 2005, she completed professional internships at the Cochlear Implant Centre in Berlin and the Viaatal Institute in the Netherlands. In 1992, together with Henryk Stroblem, she created the Parents and Friends of Children with Hearing Loss Association. From 2002 to 2016 she initiated and worked as a trainer within the Polish-Ukrainian-Dutch programmes: Juice, MATRA-Privit, Wrocław-Lviv, Partnership for Cooperation. In her work, she uses the AVT method and strives to empower the Parents, due to which 91 % of ORaToRa children can join "open", inclusive education.

She is the mother of Marta, loves Paris and Lviv, likes visiting art galleries to admire paintings, and loves music, but she is most passionate about People. She gets to know the parents of deaf children best as she hangs out with them chatting “about this and that” in the Centre's waiting room.
