Jerzy Komorowski

Born in 1980 in Wrocław. A graduate of Sociology at the University of Wrocław, he defended his doctorate in socio-economic history. Author of publications in the field of historical sociology and social history, including a publication on Social Studies. An academic lecturer. In 2008-2018 involved in the 3rd Sector. Since 2006, he has been actively working as a career counselor and employment agent supporting various social groups, including people with disabilities. As part of activation projects, he provided services to the SME sector, public employment agencies and non-governmental organizations. As career counsellor he drew inspiration from Bolles, TSR and SocioDynamic Counselling. Since 2018, he has been the Director of the Department of Social Affairs at the Marshal's Office of Lower Silesia, where he is responsible for, among others, for social policy for people with disabilities. From 2019, a member of the Lower Silesian Council for Public Benefit - Vice-Chairman of the Council for the 2020-2023 term.
