Catalina González Maldonado

Catalina González Maldonado is a Social Worker with the specialization in Community Development and Local Management, Master in Social Sciences, Postgraduate in Gender with specialization in public policies and development, Diploma in Attachment Parenting and Child Development, Diploma in Socio-family Intervention and Diploma in Social Inclusion of people with disabilities. During her career, she has led teams in residential systems for the protection of children and women victims of serious violence or frustrated femicides, supervising psycho-socio-legal teams for a better approach to people and their families. Currently she is in charge of the National Area of Independent Living and Participation of the Chilean Foundation for Disability, where she has implemented various programs aimed at the autonomy and leadership of people with disabilities, including the publication of the book Personas que Cuidan, of which she was the general coordinator and co-writer.
