Saeed Zaroori

Saeed Zaroori - an adventurer – a tour planner for people with disabilities, journalist, author of The Life of Zaroori, an autobiography and a best seller published by Olgoye Farda.

In 2014, Saeed founded the Iranian Adventurers with Disabilities Team (IADT) which develops adventurous tours for people with disabilities, builds accessible and adaptive devices to enable participation in adventures for people with disability, and consults on accessibility for hotels and ecolodges in Iran. Zaroori also coined the “Stick to Your Wheelchair” idea to promote accessibility by going on adventures on wheelchair, demonstrating the feasibility of travel – be it by bus, taxis, subway – by wheelchair users. His adventures include scuba diving on wheelchair, zipline by wheelchair, free diving with wheelchair, rock abseiling with wheelchair, swinging with wheelchair and paragliding on wheelchair.
