Martina Zelić

Martina holds a master's degree in educational rehabilitation and has been active in the field of intellectual disabilities for the past 15 years. At the moment, she is involved in advocacy for persons with intellectual disabilities and is a coordinator of staff in a community-based supported living centre, as well as a manager of the team responsible for the quality of service. In her PhD, she focuses on deinstitutionalization of persons with intellectual disabilities.

During her work within the state authorities, she gained a lot of experience in the field of social policy related to people with disabilities.

As a certified trainer and guest lecturer, she has offered many training sessions to state administration employees and students, focusing on the rights of persons with disabilities, accessibility, and person-centred planning. Her areas of interest are social policy analysis, deinstitutionalization, and social services quality evaluation.
