Nuno Machado

The Table Tennis Coach for Athletes with Intellectual Impairment and Athletes with Down Syndrome. Founder of I.T.T.A.D.S. (International Table Tennis Association for Down Syndrome).

Graduated in Business Management in 1996, he did an internship at ANDDI-Portugal, where he had the first contact with athletes with intellectual disabilities.

The taste for the sport, and the fact that he was a table tennis player for 12 years, led him to accept an invitation to be an assistant Table Tennis Coach for athletes with intellectual disabilities at ANDDI-Portugal. In 1999 he assumed the position of National Table Tennis Coach for athletes with intellectual disabilities, a position he holds to this day.

At the beginning of 2015, following the growth of the sports movement for athletes with down syndrome, founded with a French coach the I.T.T.A.D.S. (International Table Tennis Association for Down Syndrome).
