Thomas Stoch is a member of the Management Board at Lebenshilfe Braunschweig gGmbH. After studying Social Work, he dedicated his career to supporting children, families, and inclusive services.

For more than 30 years, Thomas has been involved in the development of Short Break Services in Germany and has been a member of the ISBA Board Committee since 2010. He is passionate about creating opportunities for families, building international partnerships, and learning from colleagues around the world.

In 2014, Thomas had the pleasure of hosting the first ISBA Conference in Germany in Wolfenbüttel – a charming town best known as the home of Jägermeister. Located between Braunschweig and the beautiful Harz Mountains, it proved to be a memorable setting for bringing people together and sharing ideas.

Thomas believes that some of the best innovations start with a good conversation over a cup of coffee. He enjoys meeting new people, exchanging experiences, and discovering that colleagues from different countries often face surprisingly similar challenges in the field of inclusion.
