Dr. Megan Schwalm is the President & CEO of the Tennessee Caregiver Coalition, where she leads initiatives to support and empower caregivers across the state. With a PhD in Educational Policy and Public Health from the University of Iowa. Dr. Schwalm has over twenty years of experience in nonprofit leadership.

She has previously served as the Executive Director of two nonprofits dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and has worked as a Community Organizer for the National Center for Learning Disabilities. Dr. Schwalm also held the role of Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Iowa.

Passionate about fostering compassionate workspaces, Dr. Schwalm is committed to helping nonprofits address compassion fatigue among their teams. In her spare time, she enjoys creating art, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her husband and children.
