Catharine Shanahan is the Executive Director of Family Respite Services in Windsor, ON, Canada. FRS is an agency providing a wide spectrum of respite services for families who have children with disabilities and mental health challenges. For more than 30 years, Catharine has been involved in the development and delivery of short-break services and in leadership roles to encourage discussion, information sharing, training, and flexible models of inclusion and support.
