Loïc Guilcher is currently a trainer and consultant whose work targets anyone in the
medico-social sector interested in the implementation, design, and development of
respite care services—including decision-makers, association leaders, facility
directors, and medico-social teams.

He holds a Master’s degree in Medico-Social Sector Management and has spent 25
years working with individuals with mental disabilities as they integrate into society,
as well as 16 years serving as the director of an association dedicated to providing
respite care for children with all types of disabilities.

He has also contributed to developing IT solutions that improve access to available
respite care placements and has been training teams across France and its overseas
territories on the specifics of respite care practice since 2009.

In his spare time, he enjoys hosting his children and grandchildren, playing music
with his rock band, and sailing in Breton waters with family and friends.
